Description
The piece that decides everything else on the tree. Iridescent perspex, cut into slide-together pieces that build into a three-dimensional star full of light and colour.
We would start here. The topper is the biggest single thing on the tree, so it sets the scale and the palette and everything else gets chosen to sit under it. Get that one right and the rest falls into place. It shifts through aqua, gold, pink and violet depending on where the light is coming from, which means it looks different at breakfast and at six o'clock.
