Bonnie Gray Original Painting - Lampara: A Seat at the Table - 102.5 x 150.5cm
Description
Two chairs, pulled up and waiting. A Seat at the Table is the quietest work in the Lampara series, and maybe the most direct — an invitation, drawn in terracotta and left open.
Lampara came out of a season Bonnie spent in Mallorca: dusty ground, hallowed archways, long tables and small oil lamps. The series returns again and again to the same handful of symbols — chairs, lamps, oil and wicks — drawn in warm terracotta over a soft, chalky ground.
Original painting by Bonnie Gray. One of a kind — once it sells, it's gone.
Size: 102.5 x 150.5cm (w x h).
Collection only: Because of its size and value, this original is available for collection from our Malvern East store. We can arrange delivery to Melbourne metro locations for a flat $100 — email info@norsu.com.au before purchasing and we'll organise it for you.
Bonnie Gray is an artist based on the Central Coast, Australia. Affectionately known as a scientist of colour, Bonnie's work is like no other. If there was a visual representation of a pure lust for life, this would be it.
