The norsu Studio Viola Marble Door Stop balances everyday function with considered design. Carved from solid Viola marble, each piece features soft purple and cream veining, ensuring no two are ever the same.

Weighing over 5kg, it’s substantial enough to hold doors securely, yet sculptural enough to be styled as a decorative object when not in use. Placed by an entry, on shelving or beside a doorway, it brings a quiet sense of intention to everyday spaces.

Finished with an adjustable twisted soft brushed cotton strap, designed for ease of movement while complementing the natural beauty of the marble.

Materials & care

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after use and dry thoroughly.

Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, vinegar, lemon or harsh chemicals, as they may etch or dull the marble surface.

Marble is a porous natural stone — wipe spills immediately to protect the finish.

Do not place in the dishwasher or soak in water.

To maintain its natural sheen, a stone-safe sealant may be applied occasionally if desired.

Handle with care; each piece is heavy and unique, with natural variations in colour and veining.

Strap Adjustment

To adjust the strap, remove the protective cover from the base of the door stop and re-tie the knot at your preferred length.
