Description
Volumetric forms, waterfall fronts and origami-inspired folded fabric details give the GlobeWest Hugo Rue 3 seater its soft-boulder look — sculptural, but properly comfortable. The low, grounded profile suits mid-century and contemporary rooms alike, and it looks as good from behind as it does from the front, so it can float in the middle of a room.
Beneath the Mint upholstery (100% polyester, 50,000 Martindale) is a solid timber and plywood frame with memory foam and fibre fill. Memory foam is what keeps those rounded, boulder-like shapes intact: the sofa holds its form rather than sagging into the frame, while still yielding when you sit. Slim black ash legs lift it just off the floor.
At 2260 mm wide and 1010 mm deep with a 450 mm seat height and a generous 1700 x 670 mm seat, the Hugo Rue seats three properly or two with room to stretch out. Mint is a fresh, earthy green that reads as a soft neutral in a natural-toned room. Rated to 150 kg. Arrives fully assembled.
