De Marguerite à Rose came out of four years Bonnie spent walking Paris — no transport, just a sketchbook and a camera — stopping women in the street to photograph them and ask them about their own beauty. The paintings that followed are figure studies in blush and blue: women drawn loosely, generously, mid-movement.
