Bonnie Gray Limited Edition Fine Art Print - Lampara: Oil Lamp

The symbol the whole series is named for, drawn close — a single oil lamp, a small dish and a scatter of marks. Lampara at its most distilled.

Lampara came out of a season Bonnie spent in Mallorca: dusty ground, hallowed archways, long tables and small oil lamps. The series returns again and again to the same handful of symbols — chairs, lamps, oil and wicks — drawn in warm terracotta over a soft, chalky ground.

Limited edition print by Bonnie Gray, printed with archival inks on 310gsm museum-grade silk paper.

Bonnie Gray is an artist based on the Central Coast, Australia. Affectionately known as a scientist of colour, Bonnie's work is like no other. If there was a visual representation of a pure lust for life, this would be it.
